Through technology-enriched learning experiences, various enrichment programmes and Infocomm CCAs, our staff and kim geks will become confident, discerning and creative users of technology, well-equipped to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.

Students engage in quality classroom experiences that harness technology to deepen understanding, encourage collaboration and nurture critical thinking. Our approach empowers students to be active creators of technology, developing the skills and dispositions needed to navigate and contribute positively to a rapidly changing world.
All these efforts are aligned with the EdTech Masterplan 2030, which envisions technology as an enabler of engaged learning, empowered teachers and enriched school communities.
Programme :
ICT Baseline Skills
Students will be equipped with ICT baseline skills at the end of Primary Education to support them in learning and preparing them for future needs. The ICT baseline skills are designed in alignment with the MOE-prescribed Baseline ICT Standards. These skills represent the basic level of knowledge, skills and values that pupils need in order to fully benefit from a curriculum enriched with ICT, and eventually, thrive in a technology-driven society.
Enrichment Programmes
As Singapore gears up to be the world’s first Smart Nation, our students, being the future of Singapore, need to keep abreast with the technologies. They should not be passive recipients of technologies, but active contributors of the future. Code for Fun Enrichment programme is planned for students to increase their exposure to coding and computational thinking. The programmes turn code into kids’ play through the use of simple logical reasoning and animation. Through these activities, students not only develop problem-solving skills and creative thinking skills but also develop other 21st Century competencies so as to prepare them for the future.
Professional Development for Teachers
At SCGS, we believe that empowering our teachers is key to delivering meaningful and future-ready learning experiences for our kim geks. Continuous professional development ensures that our teachers remain confident, informed and innovative in their use of educational technology.
Our teachers are supported in exploring and developing EdTech pedagogies that enhance student engagement and deepen learning. Through structured professional development sessions, teachers experiment with new tools and platforms, design technology-enriched learning experiences, and refine their practice through reflection and collaboration.
Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) serve as an important platform for teachers to engage in sustained and meaningful professional learning. Within these communities, teachers share lesson ideas, co-design resources and learn from one another's classroom experiences, fostering a culture of continuous growth and innovation.
Beyond PLTs, our EdTech committee play an active role in supporting their colleagues by curating resources, facilitating just-in-time learning sessions and keeping teachers updated on the latest developments in educational technology. These efforts ensure that our teachers are well-equipped to harness technology purposefully and effectively in their classrooms.
