Primary School
The Ministry of Education (MOE) revised the school fees for Singapore permanent residents (PR) and international students (IS) in Government and Government-aided schools annually from 2018 to 2020. This revision was part of MOE’s regular review of school fees.
MOE will not be making any changes to school fees for PR and IS (ASEAN) students in 2021. There will be moderate adjustments to the school fees for IS (Non-ASEAN) students in 2021. The revised fees will take effect from January 2021. Please refer to the tables below for the revised school fees for PR and IS for 2018 to 2021.
Primary School Fees (Per Month)
There are currently no plans to adjust school fees for Singapore Citizen (SC) students in Government and Government-aided schools. Hence, SC students will not need to pay monthly school fees for Primary School.
The standard miscellaneous fees will remain, as follows:
Primary School Miscellaneous Fees (Per Month)
Secondary School
In the Secondary School, the monthly fees are as follows:
In SCGS, we strongly believe that no deserving student should be deprived of an education. We have in place a comprehensive school-based Financial Assistance scheme to support our students whose monthly gross household income is less than $12,000 or monthly per capita income is less than $3,000. Application forms for financial assistance are available from SCGS website and General Office.
School fees and miscellaneous fees are due and payable quarterly in advance and deducted through GIRO.
Fees, once paid or deducted, will not be refunded.
